How to choose a suitable vibration motor, mainly refer to the following two aspects:

1. According to the production requirements and the type of vibrating screen, first determine the required motor vibration times n(r/min) and double amplitude S(mm).

1) Six-stage vibration motor (n = 980r/min),(S = 8-12mm) is suitable for multi-layer vibrating screen, circular vibrating screen and long-distance conveyor.

2) Four-stage vibration motor (n = 1460r/min),(S = 4-8mm) is suitable for light linear screening machine, rotary vibration screen and feeder.

3) Secondary vibration motor (n = 2870r/min),(S = 2-4mm) is suitable for high-frequency vibrating screen, vibrating table and bin to prevent occlusion.

The characteristic of the vibration motor is that the lower the rotation speed, the higher the amplitude. Every time the vibration motor rotates, the material is thrown up once on the screen surface, and moves forward or up and down along a fixed trajectory of the parabola, so that the material is screened or vibrated.

2. Secondly, determine the required exciting force.

Model designation of vibration motor, for example: XV 20-6

Where XV represents the model (different models, the distance between the motor installation centers is also different),20 represents the exciting force of 20 kN, 1 KN is equivalent to 100 KG, and 6 represents the six-stage motor, I .e. the rotating speed is 980r/min. Calculate the total weight (including the weight of the vibration motor itself) of the vibrating part above the spring of the vibration equipment plus the weight of the carrying material. For example, if the total weight of the equipment is 1000KG, if one vibration motor is used as the excitation source, 16 KN or 20 KN should be selected, and if two vibration motors are used as the excitation source, 8 KN or 10KN should be selected. This is because the excitation force of the selected vibration motor must be 30% higher than the total weight of the equipment, and the two cannot be equal, otherwise the phenomenon of small horse-drawn cart will be formed, easy to cause vibration motor overload damage.
